STANDARD WITH EVERY
SLIP-IN ASPHALT HOT BOX

One-Ton Slip-In Hot Box w/Door Linkage Kit

The PatchBox unit is a slip-in hot box designed for a one-ton pick-up with a dump bed. The Door Linkage Kit enables easy opening and closing without reaching over the PatchCatch Tray.

PatchBox provides a slip-in asphalt hotbox.
The PatchCatch Tray collects warm, pliable mix from the slip-in asphalt hot box.

PatchCatch Tray

The PatchCatch Tray provides improved ergonomics. Warm, pliable mix flows onto the tray so shoveling occurs at the knees; certainly much better than chipping away at cold, stiff mix at shoulder height. The tray slides into a standard 2″ universal receiver hitch.

Insulated Tarp

The Insulated Tarp consists of tough 18-ounce black vinyl with a quilted fiberglass fill.

The Insulated Tarp ensures asphalt in the unit stays hot.
The insulated Flex Pipe harvest heat from the tailpipe and transports it to the slide-in asphalt hot box.

Insulated Flex Pipe & Exhaust Fittings

Each unit comes with 10 feet of high temperature insulated stainless steel Flex Pipe, along with the exhaust fittings to mate with your truck’s tailpipe.

ACCESSORIES

Fork Guide Kit

The Fork Guide Kit facilitates quick and easy loading/unloading of the unit so you don’t tie down a truck to patching. Guides provide lifting access to both the length and width of the unit. Therefore, typical time for mounting/dismounting our slip-in asphalt hot box is 10-15 minutes.

The Fork Guide Kit option enables quick loading/unloading of the slid-in asphalt hot box.
The Warm Weather Tarp is recommended for use with cold mix during warm weather patching.

Warm Weather Tarp

The Warm Weather Tarp, also constructed of tough 18-ounce vinyl, is recommended when patching temperatures don’t require insulation.

Tailpipe Kit

The Tailpipe Kit (90-Degree Elbow w/Lap Joint Clamp) matches your truck’s tailpipe and enables cleaner Flex Pipe routing

The 90-Degree Elbow Kit allows for cleaner Flex Pipe routing from the truck's tailpipe to the unit.
The Aggregate Trap Bracket is welded to the side of the unit.

Aggregate Trap Bracket (Customer Welds to Side of Slip-In Hot Box)

The Aggregate Trap Bracket is welded to the side of the slip-in hot box by the customer and supports a 2×10 board so that aggregate cleared from potholes doesn’t fall back onto the street when the truck bed is tilted.
